GROUP CLASSES

6 week one hour obedience class. This class is for puppies 8 weeks- 6 months and gives an  introduction to the fundamentals on dog training, basic commands, proper grooming, house training and feeding.  Socialization time is also provided for the puppies. 1st round vaccinations and kennel cough required.

This test will cover skills like walking on a leash, sit and down commands. Reactions to distractions, as well as owner behavior.

This is for all Pups up to 1 years old who have completed and attended all 6 weeks of either Puppy Manners or Beginner Obedience Classes.

6 week one hour obedience class for dogs 6 months and older.  Basic obedience,  foundations on proper training techniques, interpreting dog body language and communication styles. Basic commands such as Sit, Down, Stay, Loose Leash Walking, Greetings, Come, etc.  Listed below are the start dates for each 6 week class.

6 week one hour class for dogs who have completed Beginner Obedience.  Focus is on bringing more control and refinement to basic commands while adding in a few more advanced commands (heel, park it, touch). Listed below are the start dates for each 6 week class.

6 week one hour class.   Advanced level obedience prepares dogs to go anywhere and be well behaved.  Focus areas include: obedience at a distance, high level distractions, and out of site cues . This class also includes AKC CGC testing for those who are interested. Listed below are the start dates for each of the 6 week classes.

This is a 4 week class  for dogs preparing for Therapy Dog Testing in June.

This is a 4 week highly focused dog training class for dogs struggling with recall, loose leash walking, and jumping up when greeting.   

SIGNUP: Thurs Nov 20th 7pm

We will work on recall adding in distractions and distance.  Loose leash walking will be on the bike path with supervision and training tips.

This engaging five-week course we will focus on dog to people and dog to dog reactivity.  This class will also help to build focus in distracting and stressful situations for both handler and dog. Some, but not all,  aspects that will be covered are handler confidence, effective communication, and understanding motivations and triggers. 

PRE-REQUISTE: Completion of Beginner Obedience and/or Private Training is required
