At Patience Dog Training, we understand that dogs need love and compassion in order to learn. That is why we are committed to proper training that involves positive reinforcement and empathetic interventions.

When you bring your dog to group dog training classes, they are able to properly socialize with other dogs in a safe manner. Our trainers are watchful of the excitement in the room and are always there to help you and your dog feel comfortable during trainings.

Puppy Manners: We offer special classes geared specifically toward your puppies needs. We have an enrichment room to provide sensory stimulation, play time with other puppies to help with socialization, and preventive training to help your puppy thrive. Start your puppy off right at PIDT.

Revival Tasty Room & Brewery is a casual brewpub that serves up a variety of delicious grub. Dogs are welcome to join you at one of their pet-friendly outdoor tables while you enjoy your meal.
The Edgewood Cafe has three dog-friendly tables outside. This quaint American restaurant is located in the historic Edgewood section of Cranston, Rhode Island.
Revolution American Bistro allows dog at their three outdoor tables. Situated in historic Pawtuxet Village near the Pawtuxet River, they claim to have put a modern twist on the neighborhood bar, serving quality fine cuisine with a more casual dining atmosphere.
Spring Lake Trail: This newly blazed trail is on an old State property. Spring Lake is part of the Curran Reservoir State Park. This State Park, however was never developed. The northern end around Curran Reservoir is open to hunting. Although the southern end is not, it is advised to wear orange during hunting season nevertheless.
Washington Secondary Trail: The first leg of the Washington Secondary Bike Path is the Cranston Bike Path. Built in three sections between 2000 and 2003, it winds nearly 6 miles along the former railroad. It starts from a parking area (41°48’4.65″N, 71°26’34.74″W) along Garfield Avenue just south of the Cranston Police Station.
