Two Ways to Give Your Dog Something Different

Some dogs love to run, jump, and move. Others would happily spend their time sniffing, searching, solving puzzles, and investigating every new thing in the room. Some enjoy both.

PIDT’s rental options give you dedicated time to engage your dog in an environment designed around activity, exploration, and learning.

    Sniff. Search. Explore. Think.

Enrichment gives dogs opportunities to use their minds and bodies in ways that go beyond ordinary exercise. The PIDT Enrichment Room is designed to give dogs a dedicated space to investigate activities, objects, scents, textures, puzzles, and other experiences.

    • Mental stimulation
    • Physical activity
    • Exploring novel objects
    • Sniffing and scent-based activities
    • Puzzle solving
    • Interaction with different textures
    • Toy exploration
    • Confidence-building experiences
    • Variety and sensory engagement

$30 plus tax per rental session.

    Enrichment Types

There’s More Than One Way to Enrich a Dog’s Day

Why enrichment matters: dogs need more than physical exercise. Mental activity, exploration, novelty, sniffing, problem-solving, and opportunities to interact with their environment can all help create a more interesting and engaging day.

    Physical Enrichment

Activities that get dogs moving and using their bodies. Examples may include movement, play, obstacles, and other physical activities.

    Mental Enrichment

Activities that encourage thinking and problem-solving. Examples may include puzzles, searching, learning, and figuring out how to interact with an activity.

    Social Enrichment

Opportunities for appropriate interaction and engagement. Kept general — not every rental includes interaction with other dogs or people.

    Nutritional Enrichment

Ways of making food or treats more engaging through searching, puzzles, or interactive feeding activities.

    Occupational Enrichment

Activities that give dogs something purposeful to do. Examples may include searching, carrying, retrieving, or other structured tasks.

    Sensory Enrichment

Activities involving smells, sounds, textures, movement, novel objects, and different environmental experiences.

    Inside the Room

Plenty to Sniff, Search & Investigate

The exact setup may change, so this is an evergreen description rather than a permanent fixed inventory. The room may include activities such as:

    • Puzzles
    • Interactive toys
    • Obstacle-style activities
    • Novel objects
    • Ball-pit style activities
    • Different scents
    • Different textures
    • Search activities
    • Other rotating enrichment experiences

The setup may rotate so dogs can experience variety. Not every listed activity is present at every appointment.
